Therapeutic Guidelines: Exploring the latest changes
Therapeutic Guidelines is undertaking its biggest update yet of the Antibiotic guidelines, with the first topics to be published in early 2025. Join members of Therapeutic Guidelines' expert groups at a preconference symposium to go behind the scenes of the guidelines' development. A selection of significant changes will be explored, as well as the evidence and decision-making that underpins them.

Supporting the future – one of the most popular sessions of the conference each year, the trainee breakfast gives trainees the opportunity to present their work and be mentored in their workplace. At the 2025 ASM, attendees of the trainee breakfast will hear clinical infectious disease updates supported by the most recent scientific evidence, all while enjoying breakfast with colleagues.

We welcome you to the ASID Conference Dinner taking place on the 4th of April at Full Members’ Dining Room, Old Parliament House.
Join us for a memorable conference dinner at Old Parliament House (OPH), the home of the federal Parliament from 1927 to 1988. Designed by John Smith Murdoch, the first Commonwealth government architect, OPH is an iconic landmark in Australia's democratic journey and has witnessed many significant events in the country's parliamentary and political history.
Our dinner will be held in the Full Member’s Dining Room, which offers a complete, unobstructed view of the Australian Parliament House. With its high ceilings, original timber lamps, and the Queen Victoria Terrace available for use in conjunction with the room, this space provides a stunning historic backdrop for our event.
